Hey there fellow foodies! Chef Jamie here, and I'm about to spill the beans (or should I say spices?) on Barbacoa Boyz' sizzling 2023 season! We've had a whirlwind of flavors and fun, taking our food to some fantastic events throughout the year.
Unless you've been living under a rock, you probably found us at one of these great events!
In April we kicked off the season at the Bay of Quinte Homeshow, wowing folks with our fusion delights, despite all the rain. Our slow-cooked meats took centre stage, leaving taste buds tingling with delight.

May brought us to Smylie's Independent Grocer, where we showcased our commitment to using local, fresh ingredients. It's the secret ingredient that elevates our dishes to the next level. And speaking of commitment, in June, we proudly supported the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life, combining good food with a good cause.

July was jam-packed with exciting pop-up events, from Canada Day celebrations to the BaitFuel Fishing Tournament at the Quinte West Pop-Ups at Centennial Park and the rockin' Rock the Dock festivities at the Trent Port Marina. We took every opportunity to spice up the summer for our food fans.

In August we helped bring the heat to the Belleville Caribbean Festival with some amazing fusion snacks, and later had the pleasure of working with the RCAF. Our cuisine literally took flight and we're proud to have served our Canadian heroes.

The excitement doesn't end there! As we head into the fall, we've got some fantastic pop-ups lined up. Catch us at Applefest in Brighton on September 23rd, revving up our flavours in the Car Show area.
We'll be making a splash at Meyers Creek Brewing Company in Belleville from September 28th to October 1st for Oktoberfest. Craft beer and Barbacoa Boyz?
