And better than ever!
Yes, Barbacoa Boyz took a hiatus to rebuild our brand (and our family) in the lovely City of Quinte West, locally known as Trenton, Ontario. We love this town - the biggest thing that puts this jewel-in-the-rough on the map is 8-Wing CFB Trenton, Canada's largest Air Force base.
We also love the central location! It's an easy drive on the 401, two hours East of downtown Toronto and an hour West of Kingston. Located at the base of the Trent Severn Waterway, between a smorgasbord of local farms, Prince Edward (wine) County to the south, coasts of sandy beaches and the beautiful Bay of Quinte (known for it's great fishing), it's a foodie's dream come true!
As we settled in, we added a catering kitchen into our new basement (after doing some renos). We were ready to get down to business and noticed a local contest to "Win This Space" through the DBIA in Trenton.
We applied, and actually won!
